18-year-old stabbed by acquaintance in Bengaluru’s Whitefield

An 18-year-old woman was critically injured after being stabbed by a male acquaintance at her home in Whitefield, Bengaluru. Police suspect the attack was motivated by a dispute over their relationship, and the accused also sustained self-inflicted injuries.
An 18-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed multiple times by a young man known to her at her residence in Ramagondanahalli, Whitefield, on Thursday. The accused allegedly injured himself after the attack. Both are undergoing treatment at separate hospitals. According to the complaint lodged by the victim’s father, Yadav Das, 40, a native of Siliguri in West Bengal who resides in Ramagondanahalli, the accused, identified as 18-year-old Bande Nawaz, allegedly entered their house when no one else was present and attacked his daughter, Nandini Das, with a sharp weapon.
