20 e-buses flagged off to connect Vizag and Bhogapuram airport
Andhra Pradesh has launched 20 electric buses to provide connectivity between Visakhapatnam and the new Bhogapuram International Airport. This initiative is part of a larger plan to introduce 1,050 eco-friendly buses across the state under a central government scheme.
Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy on Friday inaugurated 20 PM e-buses, that would provide connectivity from Visakhapatnam to the upcoming Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram on Friday, marking a major step towards strengthening eco-friendly public transportation in Andhra Pradesh. The buses were flagged off from the Visakha Steel City RTC depot in Gajuwaka, in the presence of AP TDP president Palla Srinivasa Rao and APSRTC officials.
