₹207 crore boost for tourism projects in A.P. : Union Minister

The Union Ministry has sanctioned ₹207 crore for tourism infrastructure projects in Andhra Pradesh under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 and PRASHAD schemes. The funding covers developments at Suryalanka Beach, the Araku–Lambasingi–Borra Caves circuit, and the Simhachalam and Annavaram Devasthanams.
Projects worth ₹206.77 crore have been sanctioned under the ‘Swadesh Darshan 2.0’ and ‘PRASHAD’ (National Mission on Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive) schemes for the development of the tourism sector in Andhra Pradesh, Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat informed the Lok Sabha in response to a question raised by Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy on Monday.
