4,970 files settled in adalat
The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare department has disposed of 4,970 pending files during its 'file adalat 2026' initiative. The government aims to improve administrative efficiency across various welfare departments through these periodic review sessions.
A total of 4,970 files have been disposed of in the ‘file adalat 2026’ organised by the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare department, K.A. Tulasi, Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, has said. As many as 52,759 files were pending in the department. The file adalat was organised as part of making the administration more efficient in the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Development department, the Backward Classes Development department and the directorates and sub-offices under it.
