₹50-crore master plan on anvil for Cherooppa health centre in Kozhikode

The Kerala government plans to upgrade the Cherooppa sub-centre in Kozhikode into a modern community health centre with a ₹50-crore master plan. The project aims to reduce patient load at the Government Medical College Hospital and improve healthcare access for 14 local panchayats.
Health Minister K. Muraleedharan has said that the Cherooppa sub-centre of the Government Medical College Hospital (MCH), Kozhikode, will be upgraded as a modern community health centre. A master plan worth ₹50 crore for the comprehensive development of the facility would be prepared soon, he said after visiting the centre on Saturday.
