London, July 20: An explanatory statement on the new Middle Eastern Services vote for 1926 issued by the Colonel Office shows a expenditure of four million four hundred and forty-four thousand sterling for 1926 compared with four million and nine hundred and twenty-five thousand in 1925. The decrease is approximately halved between Palestine and Iraq and to a smaller degree Arabia. The cost of the Imperial garrison in the two former countries for 1926 is shown at £3,455,500 being a decrease of £347,800.
