A librarian in the US is offering a class on avoiding AI. The response is huge

How can you get AI to stop popping up on your smartphone? A lot of smartphone users want an answer to that question. Hannah Cyrus, a librarian in Bangor, Maine, offered a class called “Avoiding AI” to her library’s patrons, teaching them how to disable the constant prompting to use AI in their smartphones. It drew an unprecedented response. She now offers the class with a limit of 30 people and keeps a growing waiting list. When she published an article about it in a library journal, she heard from dozens of other libraries who wanted to offer the class too.
