Alas Pilipinas Men fall to Indonesia, slip to SEA V Cup classification round

<p>The Alas Pilipinas Men fell to Indonesia, 25-20, 25-23, 27-25, in the SEA V Cup on Friday in Candon City, Ilocos Sur.</p><p>Rama Fazza Fauzan and Boy Arnez Arabi led Indonesia with 13 and 11 points, respectively, as the Indonesians improved to 2-0 and advanced to the semifinals alongside Cambodia (1-1).</p><p>Joshua Magalaman and Jude Garcia, meanwhile, scored 13 and 10 points, respectively, in the loss, which relegated the Philippines to the classification round.</p><p>Still, head coach Angiolino Frigoni said he was proud of the team's effort.</p><p>"For us, almost all of them on their first international experience, is very good. We improved. I hope that we continue to improve and play better and better, that's my goal," Frigoni said.</p><p>Thailand (2-0) and Vietnam (1-1), meanwhile, advanced to the semifinals from the other group.</p><p>The Philippines (0-2) will face Myanmar in the classification round.</p><p><strong> - JKC GMA News</strong></p>
