Mizoram CM Lalduhoma on Thursday said home minister Amit Shah has assured that the proposed amendments to FCRA will not apply retrospectively. “That assurance was given,” he said after meeting Shah with representatives of church bodies, adding there is an expected debate on the bill on August 12.They urged Shah to coopt their suggestions to safeguard the FCRA framework.Get the latest India News and Live updates.
