Andhra Pradesh has registered 638 green building projects with the Indian Green Building Council, covering over 627 million square feet. The state government is incentivizing these developments through impact fee discounts and registration fee refunds to promote a low-carbon future.
Andhra Pradesh has emerged as one of India’s most progressive States in integrating sustainability into urban development, industrial growth and public infrastructure, according to the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), which said in a press release that the State has more than 638 IGBC-registered green building projects covering about 627.58 million sq ft.
