Anna Salai elevated corridor Project receives Tokio Marine Group award for innovative and futuristic design

The Mount Road Elevated Corridor Project Team has received the Japan International Award 2026 from the Tokio Marine Group for Innovative and Futuristic Design. A release said, the project successfully addresses one of the most complex challenges in modern urban transportation engineering — designing an elevated corridor over operational underground metro tunnels and stations, while ensuring uninterrupted metro services and maintaining structural stresses, settlements, and deformations within limits. M. Krishnaprabhu, Senior Bridge Design Engineer of the project consultant NKAB, received the award.
