Apps targeted at US troops contain Chinese and Russian code

A study by researchers at Purdue and West Point found that over 12% of mobile apps marketed to US military personnel contain software code from China or Russia. This poses a national security risk, as foreign entities could potentially harvest location data and track troop movements.
