B.Tech spot admission in Kerala on August 13
The Kerala government has revised its B.Tech spot admission process to allow students to report to any of the 12 participating government or aided engineering colleges. This change aims to make the process more student-friendly by eliminating the need to travel to a single centralized location.
Kerala Higher Education Minister Roji M. John has said the centralised spot admission process for vacant B.Tech seats in the State’s government and aided engineering colleges has been made more student-friendly. Until last year, centralised spot admissions were conducted at the Government Engineering College (GEC), Thrissur. Under the system, students could secure admission to vacant seats in any of the nine government engineering colleges and three aided engineering colleges from the centre alone.
