Battling depression, 40-year-old psychiatrist jumps to death in Ghaziabad

GHAZIABAD: A 40-year-old psychiatrist allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the fifth floor of her apartment in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, police said on Monday.The woman, identified as Dr Hemika Agrawal, allegedly jumped from her flat in Officers City-2 Society in the Raj Nagar Extension area on Sunday. She was taken to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead.According to reports, Agrawal had been struggling with depression and emotional distress since her divorce around one-and-a-half years ago.
