Bengaluru: East corporation plans single-window centre to end runaround for civic services
The East City Corporation in Bengaluru is planning to launch a 'Citizen Help Centre' to centralize the submission and tracking of civic complaints. The system aims to improve accountability by providing unique acknowledgement numbers and monitoring progress until resolution.
A proposal to establish a ‘Citizen Help Centre’, where residents of the East City Corporation can submit their applications and complaints at a single location and monitor them until the issue is resolved, was discussed at a meeting chaired by Commissioner D.S. Ramesh on Saturday (August 8). The proposed system, he said, will help citizens to submit applications and complaints relating to various civic departments at a single location.
