Bianca Umali showcases balisong skills in cinematic action video

<p>Bianca Umali put her balisong skills on full display in a new cinematic short video.</p><p>On Instagram, the <a href="https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/tracking/biancaumali/" target="_blank">Sparkle star</a> uploaded a four-minute action-packed clip featuring choreographed fight scenes, where she wielded a balisong while taking on multiple opponents and performing various stunts.</p><p>The video was directed and written by Mark Joshua Bahian, with fight choreography designed by Ronnie Royce Base.</p><p>Bianca mastered the traditional Filipino Balisong under the <a href="https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/showbiz/chikaminute/976312/bianca-umali-trains-in-traditional-filipino-balisong-for-self-defense/story/" target="_blank">Laraw Kali Pamuok (LKP)</a> system.</p><p>Meanwhile, Bianca will voice <a href="https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/showbiz/chikaminute/987232/bianca-umali-ella-arcangel-voice-actor/story/" target="_blank">Ella Arcangel</a> in the upcoming animated film of the same name.</p><p>The film is an adaptation of "<a href="https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/lifestyle/hobbiesandactivities/964158/creator-behind-ella-arcangel-shares-reason-behind-writing-the-comic-series/story/" target="_blank">Ella Arcangel: Awit ng Pangil at Kuko</a>," a beloved Filipino horror-fantasy comic series created by Julius Villanueva.</p><p>The story follows a young witch who fights both humans and mythical monsters in the city to protect her community.</p><p>Bianca also recently starred in "<a href="https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/showbiz/chikaminute/976016/bianca-umali-terra-gargan-scene-sanggre/story/" target="_blank">Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre</a>" as Terra.</p><p> </p><blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned="" data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbK8_RKBB0M/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="14" style=" background:#FFF;
