Bihar model schools makeover: Principals vow to follow renaming, repainting directives

Bihar government schools are undergoing a mandatory rebranding and repainting process to 'Saraswati Vidya Niketan' using a 'sunrise' color scheme. Principals have expressed frustration over the financial burden and the repetitive nature of these directives.
In view of the Bihar government’s recent decision to repaint and rename all 551 model schools from class 9-12 in all blocks of the State as “Saraswati Vidya Niketan”, the schools have started painting the exterior walls with the instructed paint of “sunrise” colour, which prominently looks as saffron with which the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) identifies with.
