BLOs should not insist on hardcopies if Enumeration Forms were submitted online, says Telangana CEO
Telangana's Chief Electoral Officer has instructed officials to stop requiring hardcopies of voter forms if they have already been submitted online. The directive also prohibits Booth Level Officers from mandating Aadhaar cards for form submissions.
Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharshan Reddy directed officials to ensure that Booth Level Officers (BLO) do not insist on submission of hardcopies of Enumeration Forms (EF) if electors have submitted the forms online. The BLOs should also not insist on Aadhaar cards for submission of EFs. Necessary assistance has to be provided to voters and their issues have to be addressed promptly.
