Borussia Dortmund and Genk fail to reach agreement in matter of Konstantinos Karetsas purchase
Borussia Dortmund and KRC Genk are currently at an impasse regarding the transfer fee for 18-year-old midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas. While the player has agreed to personal terms, the clubs remain separated by a €5 million valuation gap.
Sky Sports claims that Borussia Dortmund remain locked in negotiations with KRC Genk over attacking midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas . Per the Pay-TV channel, Dortmund offered approximately €30m upfront, an additional €5m in performance-related bonuses, and a 20-percent sell-on clause. Genk nevertheless continue to demand a guaranteed €35m and an overall package potentially worth €40m.
