Brandon Coleman expected to take over as Commanders left tackle
Washington Commanders left tackle Laremy Tunsil will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn triceps injury. Brandon Coleman is expected to step into the starting role, returning to the position he held during his rookie season.
The Washington Commanders got some unfortunate injury news on Saturday night. Left tackle Laremy Tunsil left the field after a 1-on-1 with Odafe Oweh, and was taken to the team facility for evaluation. An MRI showed he tore his triceps, which will likely require surgery. He is expected to miss most, of not all, of his second season with the Commanders. Tunsil just signed a 2-year, $60 million contract extension that reestablish him as the highest-paid LT in the league.
