Built Cybersecurity AI Model

Microsoft has released MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, the company’s first AI model built specifically for cybersecurity work, marking a new front in the race among AI labs to build systems that can find and fix software vulnerabilities faster than attackers can exploit them. The model does not ship as a standalone product or public API. Instead, it lives inside MDASH, Microsoft’s multi-agent vulnerability identification and remediation harness, which the company says now coordinates more than 100 specialized AI agents across five stages it calls Prepare, Scan, Validate, Dedupe, and Prove.
