Bureau of Police Research and Development, National Crime Records Bureau get new chiefs

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Monday (July 6, 2026) appointed 1993-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officers Alok Mittal and Amit Garg as the chiefs of the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) and the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
