Census 2027: data collection crosses 75% in Kollam
Data collection for the 2027 Census in Kollam has reached over 75% completion. District officials are coordinating with enumerators to ensure accuracy and meet the July 25 deadline for portal uploads.
The Census 2027 data collection process has gained significant momentum in the district, with 75.21% of the work completed, according to Principal Census Officer and District Collector Annie Jula Thomas. The district-wide exercise is being overseen by 12 charge officers, comprising six rural and six urban charges. The urban sector includes four municipalities and two Corporation charges. Field operations are being carried out by 4,157 enumerators and 717 supervisors, who are covering 4,659 House Listing Blocks (HLBs) across the district.
