A 28-year-old journalist with Outlook , among those injured in the July 20 protest, said knew something was off when he saw an officer deployed on law and order duty at the Statesman House near Jantar Mantar fire his weapon. “There was a lot of crowd, and I saw an officer lift a gun. People started running around and dispersing. I was conscious, but there was a lot of pain,” said the journalist who did not wish to be identified.
