Children in Kerala’s Attappady get long-awaited bus ride, eye Parliament visit next

Students from a government school in Attappady celebrated the arrival of a new school bus funded by an MP's development fund. During a meeting with local officials, the children expressed a desire to visit the Parliament and the Kerala Assembly, which the officials agreed to facilitate.
For the students of Government UP School, Karara, in Attappady, having their own school bus had long been a dream. On their first long journey in the new bus, they came up with another: “Can you take us to see Parliament?” they asked K.A. Thulasi, Minister for Development of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes, and her husband V.K. Sreekandan, MP.
