CJP launches website, invites proof against ‘police excesses’

NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) Friday launched a dedicated website inviting protesters to upload photographs and videos of police personnel who allegedly assaulted demonstrators during and after the July 20 Sansad Chalo march, saying it would identify the officers and pursue legal action against them.Launching the portal at Jantar Mantar, CJP representatives appealed to protesters from across the country to submit visual evidence of the alleged assault. “We will go through every photograph and video, verify them, identify the police personnel involved and file complaints against them. We will demand registration of FIRs against such officers. If FIRs are not registered, we will approach the courts.
