'Close to 100 BJP MPs have criminal cases': CJP defends woman who 'abused' PM Modi

NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das on Friday defended Ruchika Singh, the Noida woman booked for allegedly making objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the recent CJP protests, and accused the authorities of misusing the criminal justice system.In a post on X, Das wrote, “The misuse of criminal machinery against Ruchika Singh is unacceptable. Profanity does not attract a criminal case.” He also questioned the police’s priorities, saying, “50% of Lok Sabha MPs have criminal cases against them, close to 100 MPs in the BJP. The Police can focus their energy towards them, not a 25-year-old!
