Coimbatore District Police hold meeting with private, omni bus operators
Coimbatore police held a meeting with private bus operators to enforce road safety standards and traffic regulations. Operators have been given a 15-day grace period to comply before joint enforcement drives begin.
Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police A. Pavan Kumar Reddy on Thursday held a meeting with private and omni bus operators to discuss road safety, traffic management, public awareness and measures to prevent traffic violations. Over 100 persons, including Deputy Superintendents of Police, Inspectors, Transport Department officers, private bus owners, office-bearers and members of private bus associations and representatives of omni bus associations from across the district, attended the meeting.
