CSC suspends civil service exams in NCR, parts of Luzon due to bad weather

<p>The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has suspended the Career Service Examination scheduled on Sunday, August 9, in the National Capital Region and several areas in Luzon due to prevailing weather conditions.</p><p>In a public advisory, the CSC said the suspension covers the Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test for both Professional and Subprofessional levels.</p><p>All testing centers in the National Capital Region are covered by the suspension.</p><p>The examination was also suspended in testing centers in Batangas, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal in Region IV, as well as Baguio City, La Trinidad and Abra in the Cordillera Administrative Region.</p><p>The CSC said it suspended the examinations due to the potential impact of the prevailing weather conditions on the safety and accessibility of examinees, examination personnel and other stakeholders.</p><p>Affected examinees were advised to monitor the official Facebook pages of their respective CSC regional offices and the commission's official communication channels for announcements on the rescheduled examination.</p><p>The Southwest Monsoon, or Habagat, continues to affect Luzon and the Visayas, bringing rains over Metro Manila and several other areas, according to the weather bureau. <strong> - MCG GMA News</strong></p>
