Delhi HC directs NCSC to act on complaint against V-C’s casteist remarks: JNUSU
The Delhi High Court has ordered the National Commission for Scheduled Castes to investigate a complaint against the JNU Vice-Chancellor regarding alleged casteist remarks. The complaint stems from comments made by the V-C earlier this year comparing victimhood narratives of different groups.
The Delhi High Court has directed the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) to act on a complaint filed by former Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) president Dhananjay against Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Vice-Chancellor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit over alleged casteist remarks made earlier this year, the JNUSU said on Tuesday.
