Delivery drivers to be paid minimum $31.30 an hour across Australia in ‘world-leading’ decision

The Australian Fair Work Commission has established a new minimum wage of $31.30 per hour for gig economy delivery workers. The ruling also mandates that delivery platforms provide personal accident insurance for their workers, effective August 17.
