Dementia awareness rally held in Chennai
The Dementia Care Foundation organized an awareness rally at Elliot’s Beach in Chennai to promote inclusivity for dementia patients. Over 200 participants gathered to advocate for better support systems and reduced stigma for elders with the condition.
Over 200 persons from healthcare, academia, corporate organisations, service clubs and the general public participated in a “Dementia Awareness Rally” organised by The Dementia Care Foundation (TDCF) on Saturday. The rally, which was organised at Elliot’s Beach, aimed at raising awareness about dementia and advocating for a more dementia-friendly and inclusive community.
