Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has announced a fast-track investigation into alleged land irregularities under the previous Dharani portal system. The government plans to implement a new comprehensive policy for assigned lands while rejecting opposition claims regarding the prohibited land list.
The State government would take stringent action against those who had allegedly misused the erstwhile Dharani portal to illegally secure lands, Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said on Saturday. He also announced that the government would soon unveil a comprehensive policy on assigned lands.
