DISCOMs told to accelerate solar rooftop installations under PMSGMBY

Andhra Pradesh emerged as one of the leading States in the implementation of the Central government’s flagship PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSGMBY), Special Chief Secretary (Energy) K. Vijayanand said in a review meeting through a video-conference on Thursday, wherein he reiterated the government’s commitment to accelerating the installation of rooftop solar systems across State, promoting the adoption of clean energy, and ensuring the timely disbursement of Central Financial Assistance (CFA) to all eligible beneficiaries.
