Ebola: Force commander reaffirms United Nations commitment to secure health facilities in Mongbwalu

The Force Commander of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lieutenant General Ulisses De Mesquita Gomes, travelled to Mongbwalu, epicenter of the Ebola outbreak in Djugu Territory, to assess operations aimed at protecting civilians, support the peacekeepers deployed in the area and reaffirm the Mission’s commitment alongside the Congolese authorities.
