EC extends SIR schedule for Haryana, Andhra Pradesh
The Election Commission of India has extended the schedule for the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Andhra Pradesh and Haryana. Key deadlines for house-to-house visits and the publication of draft and final voter lists have been pushed back to accommodate the ongoing process.
The Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday (July 14, 2026) extended the schedule of the ongoing S pecial Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Andhra Pradesh and Haryana. The two States are part of Phase 3 of the SIR rolled out on May 14 , which is covering 16 States and Union Territories.
