ECP asks lawmakers to submit annual asset declarations by December 31
The Election Commission of Pakistan has mandated that all lawmakers submit their annual asset and liability declarations by December 31, 2026. Failure to comply will result in the publication of names and potential suspension of parliamentary membership.
ISLAMABAD - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has directed all members of the Senate, National Assembly and provincial assemblies to submit their annual statements of assets and liabilities for the financial year 2025-26 by December 31, 2026, in accordance with Section 137 of the Elections Act, 2017. According to an ECP's notification issued on Friday, lawmakers are required to submit Form-B, declaring their own assets and liabilities as well as those of their spouses and dependent children as of June 30, 2026.
