A total of eight deaths have been confirmed across Kerala in rain-related incidents as a spell of intense rain battered the State from Friday (July 31, 2026), as per information from the Chief Minister’s office. Thirteen people sustained injuries while 5,792 people were shifted to 209 relief camps. Twenty-seven houses were completely destroyed and 196 houses were partially destroyed.
