Faridabad school teacher stabbed to death by masked man; CCTV captures attack
A 26-year-old school teacher was fatally stabbed by a masked assailant inside a school in Faridabad, Haryana. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the attack.
FARIDABAD: A 26-year-old private school teacher was stabbed to death by a masked man inside a school in Haryana's Faridabad on Monday morning, with the attack captured on CCTV cameras installed on the school premises.Sandhya was a teacher at Saraswati Senior Secondary School in Sikrona village.The accused reached the school premises around 9.40am and, after waiting for some time, went to the classroom door and allegedly dragged Sandhya out before attacking her with a knife.CCTV footage showed the accused entering the school with his face covered in a white cloth, leaving only his eyes visible.He allegedly asked school staff to inform Sandhya that "Vicky" had come to meet her. As soon as she reached the school gate, the accused allegedly attacked her.Sandhya reportedly resisted, but the accused stabbed her repeatedly, striking her neck and chest around 18 to 20 times in quick succession. She died at the spot.The accused fled after the attack. Police are yet to ascertain his identity and are examining CCTV footage and other evidence to trace him.
