Farmers allege mismanagement of space at TNCSC rice mill at Thirunageswaram
Farmers from the All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) alleged mismanagement and poor storage conditions at a Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation (TNCSC) rice mill in Thirunageswaram after an inspection. They found paddy bags drenched in rain and old gunny bags stored, despite officials blaming transport contractors and claiming full capacity. The farmers were initially restricted from taking photos or speaking to media.
A group of members from the All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) of the Communist Party of India have alleged mismanagement of space at the Modern Rice Mill of the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation at Thirunageswaram on the outskirts of Kumbakonam following an inspection of the mill on July 13.
