Firefighters battle major scrapyard blaze with 'close doors and windows' warning

Firefighters are battling a large scrapyard blaze. It has broken out at on Station Road in Talacre. People have been urged to close their doors and windows in the area. A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service statement today said: "Firefighters and several appliances are currently in attendance at a large fire at a scrapyard on Station Road in Talacre. "We are advising residents in the area to keep windows and doors closed, and would ask the public to avoid the area until further notice whilst emergency services deal with the incident."
