First case of deadly H5 bird flu found in Australian seabird on SA coast

Australian authorities have confirmed the first case of H5 bird flu in a local seabird, a greater crested tern found on the South Australian coast. While officials describe the development as concerning, they maintain that the national biosecurity system is functioning as intended.
