Flyovers in Hyderabad’s IT corridor busy junctions targeted for completion by May 2027
The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation is constructing new flyovers and underpasses at the IIIT and Khajaguda junctions in Hyderabad. The project, valued at ₹679 crore, aims to reduce traffic congestion and travel times for over 2 lakh daily commuters by May 2027.
Commuters using Hyderabad’s IT corridor could save up to 20 minutes at IIIT Junction and 16 minutes at Khajaguda Junction once two major flyover and underpass projects worth ₹679 crore are completed by May 2027. The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) said the projects are expected to ease congestion at two of the city’s busiest intersections, benefiting over 2 lakh vehicles every day.
