The national capital received light to moderate rain on Saturday, with Safdarjung weather station recording 98.7 mm of rain in the 24 hours ending at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday, the third-highest 24-hour August rainfall since 2011, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD) data. It received another 4.4 mm till 5.30 p.m.
