Government cracks down on weighing fraud

The Tanzanian government has directed the Weights and Measures Agency (WMA) to intensify efforts against fraud and malpractice in weighing and measuring to protect consumers, businesses, and the national economy. Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade, Dennis Londo, emphasized the importance of accurate measurements for fair trade and launched WMA's Five-Year Strategic Plan.
