Gujarat police trace missing teen to Shivamogga, arrest accused

Gujarat police rescued a 14-year-old girl from Shivamogga, Karnataka, after a five-month search. The accused, who was working as a temple priest, had lured the minor away and introduced her as his wife.
The police attached to the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Vadodara in Gujarat, investigating the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl, travelled nearly 1,200 km to Shivamogga, rescued the girl, and arrested the man accused of luring her away. The accused, also a native of Gujarat, was working as a priest at a Jain temple here.
