Educational institutions in Visakhapatnam are hosting a series of commemorative meetings from August 6 to 9 to mark the Hiroshima-Nagasaki nuclear attacks. The program aims to foster an anti-nuclear mindset among students through discussions and photo exhibitions.
A poster announcing the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Commemorative Meetings, to be held from August 6 to 9, was released at the Department of Social Work, Andhra University, on Monday (August 3, 2026). The programme is being organised by the B.V. Foundation for Peace and Harmony, an affiliated body of the International Association for Religious Freedom (IARF), with the United Religions Initiative (URI).
