Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha reiterated that the State government is committed for the welfare of handloom weavers and stated that many initiatives were being implemented to strengthen the sector and improve the livelihoods of weaving families. She participated as the chief guest at the National Handloom Day celebrations organised under the ‘Nethanna Sevalo’ programme at Payakaraopeta in Anakapalli district, along with District Collector Vijaya Krishnan.
