Samsung has announced its latest foldable smartphone lineup, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8, set for an August release. The devices feature incremental hardware updates, including new screen sizes and processor upgrades, rather than radical design changes.
Samsung’s latest round of folding Galaxy Z phones and updated smartwatches were announced at its July 2026 Unpacked event and set to launch on August 7th. The Galaxy Z Flip 8, Fold 8, and Fold 8 Ultra don’t seem geared toward people who bought last year’s model; Aside from a few design updates and AI features, there’s not a whole lot that’s new — unless we’re talking about the Z Fold 8.
