AI Summary

The Seven Network has secured the rights to the reality franchise 'I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here' starting in 2027. The show will feature a new cast and continue its tradition of celebrity challenges for charity.

Get ready, Australia! One of TV’s most successful and talked-about franchises will have a new home on Seven in 2027. Global reality phenomenon I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here will join the network’s hit entertainment lineup, bringing its signature mix of adventure, humour and high-stakes challenges to Seven audiences for the first time. An all-new cast of celebrities will brave the elements, tackle unforgettable trials and compete for the coveted title of King or Queen of the Jungle hoping to win $100,000 for charity. Since 2015, Aussie celebs have battled it out in the South African jungle with some of the past winners and contestants including Brendan Fevola, Shane Warne, Casey Donovan, Shannon Noll, Peter Rowsthorn, Colin Fassnidge, Billy Brownless, Brittany Hockley, Shane Crawford, Luke Jacobz and Beau Ryan. This year’s season saw comedian Concetta Caristo crowned Queen of the Jungle. Southern Cross Media Group’s managing director, television and streaming, Angus Ross, said he was excited to welcome one of the world’s most recognisable entertainment formats to Seven. “This is a proven franchise with a passionate fan base, and we’re looking forward to bringing our own fresh energy and ambition to its next chapter,” he said. ITV Studios Australia’s chief executive and managing director, David Mott, said his team was “absolutely thrilled” to partner with the Seven Network to “unleash the next massive evolution of I’m A Celebrity… in 2027”. “For over 10 years, Australian audiences have loved this iconic show, and with terrifying trials, hilarious camp drama and heartfelt celebrity revelations, ITV Studios Australia is ready to deliver a brand-new era for the Jungle,” he said. It comes after Network 10 in May sensationally axed the show after 11 years on air to focus on other content. It was hosted by Julia Morris and Robert Irwin. I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here is created by Lifted Entertainment, part of ITV Studios, which also distributes the format internationally. It is produced by ITV Studios Australia for the Seven Network. The series will make its debut on Seven and 7plus in 2027.
